DFD offers full-time and part-time internships/voluntary work for students and other interested individuals regardless of nationalities interested in migration and development.
Diaspora Forum for Development (DFD) is a unique configuration of more than 40 migrant organizations and platforms based in the Netherlands. It is a melting pot of both the seasoned, as well as the relatively young organizations, an exciting combination that propels the dynamic movement of this network.
DFD benefits from the experiences of those who have long been active on the issue of migration and development. At the same time it generates power and inspiration from the open, flexible and pragmatic cultures and new ideas of the relatively newer formations. This diversity in membership results in a synergetic, albeit very challenging, collective type of leadership and unfolds a developing organizational culture.
Diversity and complementarity; participatory approach in decision-making process; solidarity and respect for the autonomy of each member organization - these are the guiding principles of this platform.
